Government Affairs Morning – April 13, 2022 – Water Resources Event and Meeting

This is a free event for WeSERV members. You may attend in person or via Zoom.

Join us on April 13, 2022 at our Sierra Vista office for a two part Government Affairs event and meeting.

We begin with our guest presenter, Mark Apel – Cochise County Engineering & Natural Resources. Mark will present the WHIP (Web Based Hydrologic Information Portal) for the Upper San Pedro River Basin.

The WHIP is a new, interactive tool you and your clients can use to learn more about the aquifer, rivers and groundwater in the area. It is a useful tool for due diligence, project management and water resources management. Residential, commercial and agricultural water users need to know this information and now it is in one, easy to access place.

Next, we will have a member open forum. Tell us what issues are of concern to you and your clients. How can WeSERV help?

We will finish off with our Government Affairs Committee meeting. The committee will discuss topics, issues and the upcoming candidate interviews. All WeSERV members are invited to attend this meeting. Come for the discussions that interest you and leave when you need to leave. Provide us your input at the forum and participate in discussion at the committee meeting.

Voting members must attend the Government Affairs Committee meeting portion.
