Ben Graff, Board of Director for Central Arizona Project
Ben will discuss the access, distribution and management of Arizona’s water.
He is a land use & zoning attorney with Aday Graff PC in Phoenix. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2016.
Dennis Rule, Manager Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District
Dennis will discuss assured water supplies, groundwater and the future of water in the West Valley.
Dennis worked for Tucson Water for over 20 years before coming to work for CAP and overseeing the Groundwater Replenishment District. He manages the program to develop additional water supplies and contends with public policy, regulatory and legislative issues.
Lacey James, Water Resources & Regulatory Compliance Manger – City of Avondale
Lacey manages the City of Avondale water portfolio, oversees conservation programs, wastewater treatment and water quality.
Cindy Blackmore, Director of Public Works – City of Avondale
Cindy leads a team of 12 department heads and 92 personnel coordinating operations across the Public Works Department. This includes: wastewater, water production, water distribution, and regulatory compliance.
Lacey and Cindy will be discussing the treatment, distribution, management and storage of water from the time it enters the municipal system to the time it comes out your tap.
