Perhaps you have seen this billboard sign along the 101. StoneHaven is a large residential development (1400 homes) with several types of home products in the final stages of approval. The City Council is the last step in the approval process before breaking ground.
The project is a joint effort of John F. Long Properties and Pulte Homes. It will sit just south of Westgate and will include the extension of Bethany Home Rd. A new grocery store is slated to be part of the development as well as restaurants, a park and walking paths.
The question that will go before the City Council will be whether to approve an additional 204 homes to the original City Council approved plan (April 2016). Updated market analysis led the developer to increase the housing product types from three to five with some products having reduced lots. Glendalemomentum.com is the website the builder has set up with more information.
The Glendale Star penned an op-ed on May 18, 2017 regarding the project with an update on May 22nd.
