Lorie Dever, City of Peoria Planning Department, has released the first three sign ordinance “cheat sheets”. The new sign ordinance takes effect April 12, 2018.
WeMAR appreciates Miss Dever’s work creating helpful fact sheets highlighting the most used portions of the sign ordinance.
If you have suggestions for other Quick Fact Sheets your clients or you would find helpful, please let Liz Recchia know so that we may forward the information to the City of Peoria.
New Sign Code FAQ (transition period)
Temporary directional signs must contain the responsible party’s name and contact information. This may be accomplished with a sticker in the corner of the sign, using a brokerage sign with contact information, using a sign rider with contact information, or another method of your choice.
