Tuesday November 7, 2017 was Election Day and the last day voters could hand in their ballot at a Voting Center.
Most voters had bond issues on their ballots. All the bond issues in West Valley cities passed with one exception: Gila Bend.
Surprise narrowly passed all three of their bond issues totally $59.5 million. This was the third time around. In past elections the entire $59.5 million dollars was voted down as one bond issue. This time the City grouped the proposed projects into three separate bond issues.
Schools saw their bond issues, overrides and budget increases pass by sizable numbers.
You can see all the election results at the Maricopa County Recorder website.
