Yesterday was Election Day and by all accounts Arizona turned out to vote in big numbers. Now, you probably want to confirm if the candidates and issues you voted on won or lost. While numerous media sources are calling the election or relying on the AP, you might wish to check a primary and direct source for your information.
Below are links to the Arizona Secretary of State, the Maricopa County, Pinal County and Cochise County election websites. The County election officials count and report the votes, the Secretary of State certifies the election results and reports statewide offices. Your County elections website will have your local election (city, town, school district and county) results. Beginning Nov. 4th at 7pm, the Maricopa County Recorder will update unofficial election results daily at 7pm until all votes are counted.
Counting in some areas may take a few days. Already Maricopa County has put up a website for those of you who voted by mail ballot to check if your signature has been questioned. You can also view the vote counting with the webcam at each County Election website. The Az Secretary of State has a website to check the status of your mail in ballot as well.
