Join us on July 24th from 9am to 12 noon for the latest updates from GAD Task Forces and Workgroups.
We will start with a big project in the West Valley update. Surprise Vice-Mayor Ken Remley will update us on the new ordinances, plans and funding for the Old Surprise Town site. Then we will discuss our task forces, workgroups and the issues you and your clients are facing. What can WeMAR do to help?
We finish with a Lunch & Learn. This meeting our guest will be Andrea Whitsett, Director of the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at ASU. Join us as we discuss the policy research areas the Morrison Institute engages in, the information you can access and the Kyl Center for Water Policy. The Morrison Institute advises the State of Arizona on policy issues including: water, education, changing demographics, economic growth, criminal justince and health care.
You may read more about the Morrison Institute on their website.
This is a free event open to WeMAR members only. Please register so that we have lunch and seats for all.
