Yesterday’s WeMAR Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) meeting was a lot of fun. Members discussed Sign Ordinance issues in Surprise, Goodyear and Peoria. WeMAR members are actively addressing the “No A-Frame” issue in Surprise as well as the proposed new Surprise Sign Ordinance. Members discuss WeMAR’s input to the City of Peoria and the upcoming Peoria Planning & Zoning Commission meeting on Peoria’s proposed sign ordinance. And we discussed member concerns and ways to impact needed changes to Goodyear’s newly adopted sign ordinance.
