As most of us know by now, the I-11 corridor is slated run from Nogales, through Casa Grande, route west near Maricopa, wind west around the Estrella Mountains at Rainbow Valley, go north through Buckeye on the west side of the White Tanks up to Wickenburg. From there it will eventually connect to Las Vegas on its way to Canada.
The economic potential is huge. At Coffee with Maricopa Mayor Price he spoke about the enormous potential for Arizona and the Country.
Now it is time for you to review the possible routes and provide you thoughts on the proposed route. The public comment period closes July 8, 2019.
You may access the documents and maps at the I-11 & Intermountain West website or at libraries and City Halls in: Wickenburg, Buckeye, Rainbow Valley, Surprise, Phoenix, Goodyear, Hidden Valley/Maricopa, Casa Grande, Eloy, Gila Bend, Marana, Tucson, Green Valley, Sahuarita and Nogales. Check the I-11 website to find out which City Halls and libraries house the information.
