August 4th is Primary Election Day for State offices, Federal offices and some County offices. Several cities have their Mayor and City Council elections on August 4th as well. July 6th is the deadline to register to vote. If you are unsure if you are a registered voter, you can visit your county’s election website to check your status.

This year ballots will be mailed to those who requested to vote by mail on July 8th, and in Pinal and Maricopa Counties in person early voting will be available at voting centers starting July 8th. In Cochise County in person early voting will be available at the Recorder’s office.
Cochise County has their printable Guide to Voters and a Pocket Voter Guide on their website. The Arizona Secretary of State has an online portal so you can check your voter registration status, find your polling location, request a ballot by mail and verify you ballot by mail status.
To see who is on your ballot running for State and Federal offices, visit the Az Secretary of State website. To see who will be on your ballot running for city and county offices, go to your County Recorder’s Election website and click on the “Who’s on My Ballot?” link. Some counties will provide a link for you to preview your sample ballot online as well.
Douglas and Tempe Mayor and City Council elections were held in March. Sierra Vista will have their Council elections in November.
