In March AAR filed an initiative with the Arizona Secretary of State. The initiative, if passed, would prevent new and never before sales taxes on services. You can help this initiative get on the ballot by signing an initiative and/or gathering signatures. You may get an initiative from Liz Recchia at WeMAR or from Nicole LaSlavic at AAR.
Earlier in the legislative session, Representative Cardenas proposed a bill that would levy a sales tax on any business or service not currently paying TPT (Transaction Privilege Tax). The tax would be levied on the GROSS income. This is not new. About every two years we see yet another attempt to tax services.
