Water in Arizona can be confusing for REALTORS®, appraisers, lenders, insurance agents, and certainly our clients.
The WeSERV Water Issues Task Force is creating a series of flyers designed to provide easily accessible explanations and primary sources so that you and your clients can complete due diligence and provide proper disclosure.
This is the first in a series of Water in Arizona education flyers. You may choose do download a hard copy, or if you send the pdf, the links are live taking you to the source website.
Help your clients understand what an AMA or INA is, and what that means to them. Help them understand Assured Water Supply and Adequate Water Supply, and the disclosures and due diligence they need to undertake by being the “source of the source”.
There are links to interactive maps, well owner guides, the well registry, the groundwater rights interactive map, designated water providers, Cadastral and Legal Description info, and more so commercial and residential professionals – and their clients – can better understand their water rights and responsibilities.
