One of the biggest concerns for buyers and owners of land is water rights. Arizona has quite the web of information which makes trying to figure out resources and questions to ask can be an overwhelming task.
The WeSERV Water Issues Task Force decided to help clients and WeSERV members by providing a flyer with resources and questions designed to aid buyers in their due diligence.
This Water Worksheet can be used by buyers and property owners of agricultural, commercial and residential land. Before you start your real estate project, it is important to know if the land you have, or are considering purchasing, has water rights. After you determine the water sources and rights, it is important to determine if those water rights are appropriate for the project you are planning to build.
