The Luke Air Force Base Targeted Growth Management Plan is being conducted by MAG, the Maricopa Association of Governments.
The purpose is to twofold: Enforce the idea that the West Valley communities support Luke Air Force Base and its mission and provide valuable information to Luke Air Force Base pilots, personnel and their dependents on the West Valley amenities and opportunities.
I was at the stakeholder meeting on Sept. 17th with WeMAR members Jay Otlewski and John Kodlick. There was one glaring information gap, private post-secondary education opportunities. As we know there are businesses and professions that require certification in skills or knowledge. Real Estate brokers and agents, appraisers, paralegals, nurses, CNA’s, computer coders, project managers, insurance agents and brokers, hairstylists, electricians, diesel mechanics, welders, and so many more careers.
I need your help to provide this important and valuable information. Please send me names and locations of private post-secondary schools you are familiar with in the West Valley by September 27th so Luke personnel and their dependents understand the job and education opportunities awaiting them here in the West Valley.
